How to Draw a Table Tennis Table
Draw a table tennis table in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the table top.
Step 1: The table top
Across the middle of your paper draw a wide flat shape like a squashed box, narrower at the top.
Step 2: The edge band
Under the front edge draw a thin band all the way along, for the thick side.
Step 3: Front legs
Under each end of the band draw a tall thin box leg, straight down to the ground.
Step 4: Back legs
Just in from each front leg, draw a thinner back leg under the band, as long as the front ones.
Step 5: The net
Across the middle of the top draw a thin box poking out both sides, with a post on each end.
Tip Rub out the table edges inside the net.
Step 6: Net lines
Draw a line along the middle of the net, post to post. Then draw 9 short lines top to bottom.
Step 7: White lines
Draw a line just inside the table edge all the way round, and one down the middle. Skip the net.
Step 8: 2 paddles
In front of the net draw a flat oval paddle each side. Add short handles pointing to the front corners.
Step 9: The ball
Between the paddles draw a small round ball sitting on the middle line.
Step 10: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under the legs and stop near the right edge.
Step 11: Orange and brown
Go over your lines, then colour the ball orange and the 2 handles brown.
Step 12: Red paddles
Colour the 2 round paddles red.
Step 13: Blue table
Colour the table top and the edge band blue, around the paddles and the ball. Leave the net white.
Step 14: Grey legs
Colour all 4 legs and the 2 net posts grey, and your table tennis table is done!
