How to Draw a Speaker
Draw a speaker in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
In the middle of your paper draw a tall box with soft corners, like a cereal box standing up.
Tip Make it about half again as tall as it is wide.
Step 2: The big speaker
In the lower half of the box draw a big circle. Draw a second circle inside it, a finger in.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the inner circle draw 2 round eyes. Add a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The small speaker
Near the top of the box draw a smaller circle with a little circle inside it.
Step 6: Knobs and light
On each side of the small speaker draw a round knob with a tick. Add a tiny light dot below.
Step 7: Two feet
Under the box draw 2 small square feet.
Step 8: Sound waves
On each side of the big speaker draw 2 curved sound waves, one inside the other, like brackets.
Step 9: Music notes and ground
Draw a music note floating on each side of the speaker. Add a ground line under the feet.
Step 10: Grey speakers
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink, then both speakers grey around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Slate box, black feet
Colour the box slate around both speakers, and the feet black.
Step 12: Blue notes
Colour the music notes blue, and your speaker is pumping!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a speaker, drawn by you.
