How to Draw Pretzel Bites

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw pretzel bites in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.

Print

  1. Step 1: A plate

Below the middle of your paper draw a long flat oval plate, with space left at both sides.

Tip The plate comes first; the bites sit inside the rim.

  2. Step 2: The rim

Draw a second flat oval just inside the plate, all the way round, for the rim.

  3. Step 3: First bite

On the plate's left draw a puffy pillow. On its top draw a short thin split, pointy at both ends.

  4. Step 4: Two more in front

Draw 2 more puffy pillows beside it in a row, each tilted a little, with a thin split on top.

  5. Step 5: Two behind

Behind the row draw 2 more pillows peeking out, from one front bite over to the next. Add thin splits.

  6. Step 6: Salt chunks

Just past one end of each split draw a salt chip. Add one more under each front split.

  7. Step 7: The table

Draw a table line under the plate, out past both sides, just touching its bottom.

  8. Step 8: Pale splits

Go over your lines, then colour each split pale tan.

  9. Step 9: Brown bites

Colour all 5 bites brown around the splits and the salt. Leave the salt white.

  10. Step 10: Sky plate

Colour the plate sky blue around the bites, and your pretzel bites are done!
