How to Draw a Panda Playing a Guitar
Draw a panda playing a guitar in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big wide head.
Step 1: Big wide head
Near the top draw a big wide head like a bun, a little flatter on top.
Tip Leave lots of room underneath for the body and the guitar.
Step 2: Round ears
On the top corners of the head draw 2 round ears peeking out. Colour them black.
Step 3: Eye patches
Below the middle draw 2 black egg patches slanting down and out. Draw a round white eye in each.
Tip Leave the eyes white, with a big black dot and a tiny shine.
Step 4: Nose and smile
Draw a black oval nose between the patches. Start under it, draw a short line down, stop at a smile.
Step 5: Guitar body
Under the head on the left draw a tilted peanut, bigger at the left end. Add a small round hole.
Tip The hole sits in the thin middle of the peanut.
Step 6: Neck and head
Start at the guitar's small end. Draw a long thin neck up right. Stop at a small rounded box.
Step 7: Round body
Start at each cheek. Draw a big C side down, behind the guitar. Stop a hand above the bottom.
Tip The body is wider than the head, like a big pear.
Step 8: Legs and feet
Start where each side stopped. Draw a fat round leg down to the ground and stop back at the start.
Tip Join the 2 legs with a short tummy line and draw the ground under them.
Step 9: Two arms
Start under each cheek. Draw the left arm curving down onto the guitar, and the right arm onto the neck.
Tip Each arm ends in a round paw.
Step 10: Three strings
Start at the left paw. Draw 3 thin strings over the hole and along the neck. Stop at the head.
Tip The strings run under both paws.
Step 11: Paw pads
On each foot draw an oval pad low down, and 3 little round toes above it.
Step 12: Wooden guitar
Colour the guitar body light brown and its neck and head dark brown. Go round the paws.
Tip Leave the sound hole white for now.
Step 13: Pink and grey
Colour the paw pads and toes pink. Colour the sound hole dark grey.
Step 14: Black fur
Colour both arms and both legs black, going round the pink pads. Leave the eyes white.
Tip Go over all your lines to finish.
