How to Draw a Lynx Face
Draw a lynx face in 8 easy steps, about 6 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big egg on its side that fills most of the page. Give each cheek 2 soft fur points.
Step 2: Tufted ears
On each side of the head, draw a wide pointy ear, stopping back on the head. Add a black tuft.
Tip The black ear tufts are what say lynx.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Below the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes an eye apart, with a dot and white shine.
Step 4: Nose and W smile
Below the eyes, draw an upside-down triangle nose, coloured in. From its point, draw a wide W smile.
Step 5: Cheek ruff and whiskers
From each lower fur point, draw 4 soft bumps under the jaw, stopping at the chin's middle. Add whiskers.
Step 6: Rosy cheeks
Draw a little oval blush on each cheek, under the eye toward the fur point, and colour it pink.
Step 7: Cream ruff, peach ears
Colour the cheek ruff cream and the inside of each ear peach.
Step 8: Grey fur
Colour the head and ears grey, going around the nose, cheeks and inner ears. Leave the eyes white.
