How to Draw a Kawaii Lobster
Draw a kawaii lobster in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round head.
Step 1: Round head
Draw a big round head in the middle, a little wider at the top than the bottom.
Tip Leave room above for the claws and below for the tail.
Step 2: Two big claws
On each side draw a short arm, then a big claw pointing up with a V cut in its top.
Tip Make each claw nearly as tall as the head.
Step 3: Sparkly eyes
Draw 2 big circles side by side. Colour them black, leaving white shines in each.
Tip Draw the shines first, then colour around them.
Step 4: Tiny smile
Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a tiny U smile.
Step 5: Long feelers
Start on top of the head. Draw 2 long thin lines curving up and out. Stop near the top.
Tip Lean the feelers away from each other.
Step 6: Bumpy tail
Under the head draw a tail with 3 bumps down each side, getting narrower. Close it flat.
Tip Each bump is a little smaller than the one above.
Step 7: Tail rings
Draw 2 curved lines across the tail, from dip to dip.
Step 8: Tail fan
At the end of the tail draw 3 round flaps: 1 straight down and 1 leaning out each side.
Step 9: Little legs
Start under each claw arm. Draw 2 little legs pointing out and down, thinner at the tips.
Step 10: Sandy ground
Start at the left. Draw a flat line touching the bottom of the tail fan. Stop at the right.
Step 11: Pink cheeks
Colour a small pink oval on each cheek, under the outside of each eye.
Tip Press lightly so the cheeks stay soft.
Step 12: Red lobster
Colour the head, claws, tail, fan and legs red, around the cheeks. Your kawaii lobster is done!
