Print

  1. Step 1: Mum's big head

On the left draw a big soft head, wider than tall, with round cheeks.

Tip Keep her head high on the left. Her body and the puppies go on the right.

  2. Step 2: Floppy ears

From each top corner of the head draw a long floppy ear hanging down past the cheek.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

Across the middle of the head draw 2 egg eyes. Add black dots and white shines.

  4. Step 4: Snout and nose

Under the eyes draw a wide oval snout. Sit a black nose on top and hang a w smile.

  5. Step 5: Long low body

Draw a ground line. From behind the head draw a long low back, round the bottom, down to the ground.

Tip She is lying down, so her back is lower than her head.

  6. Step 6: Front legs

On the ground draw a front leg stretching forward to a round paw. Add 2 toes and a paw behind.

  7. Step 7: Back leg and tail

At the back draw a big round thigh with a paw on the ground and 2 toes. Add a tail.

  8. Step 8: Puppy heads

In front of her tummy draw 2 small round heads. Give each one 2 floppy ears.

  9. Step 9: Puppy eyes

On each puppy draw 2 black dot eyes with tiny white shines.

  10. Step 10: Noses and smiles

Under the eyes of each puppy draw a little black nose and a small smile.

  11. Step 11: Puppy bodies

Under each head draw a round body sitting on the ground, 2 little hill paws and a small tail.

  12. Step 12: Cream snout and puppy

Colour mum's snout cream, around her black nose. Colour the first puppy cream.

  13. Step 13: Light brown fur

Colour mum's head, body, legs and tail light brown, around the puppies. Leave her eyes white.

  14. Step 14: Brown ears and puppy

Colour mum's 2 floppy ears brown. Colour the second puppy brown.
