How to Draw a Christmas Wolf

14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw a Christmas wolf in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big fluffy head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big fluffy head

Draw a wide head with a flat top. Give each cheek 2 fur points, then curve to the chin.

Tip Make both sides match, like a mirror.

  2. Step 2: Pointy ears

On each top corner draw a tall pointy ear leaning out. Add a small triangle inside each one.

Tip Lean the ears out so the hat fits between them.

  3. Step 3: Big eyes

Draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each and leave a tiny white shine.

    Tip Leave the eyes white.

  4. Step 4: Muzzle and nose

Between the eyes, draw a long round muzzle down to the chin. Add a black nose at the top.

  5. Step 5: Happy smile

Draw a short line down from the nose. Under it, draw a wide smile from side to side.

  6. Step 6: Fur band

Across the top of the head, between the ears, draw a long sausage shape for the hat's fur band.

  7. Step 7: Santa hat

From the band draw a tall hat that flops over to one side. Put a round pompom on the tip.

Tip The pompom hangs just above one ear.

  8. Step 8: Fluffy chest

Under the chin draw a fluffy bib that hangs down in 3 soft points.

  9. Step 9: Front legs

From the cheeks draw 2 wide legs down to a flat ground line. Add a middle line and toe lines.

  10. Step 10: Back legs

Beside each front leg draw a big round hip. Add a paw poking out, with 2 toe lines.

  11. Step 11: Bushy tail

Behind one hip, draw a fat tail that sits on the ground and curves up to a point.

Tip A wolf has a thick, fluffy tail.

  12. Step 12: Cream fur

Colour the muzzle, the fluffy chest and the insides of the ears cream.

  13. Step 13: Grey fur

Colour the rest of the wolf grey. Leave the eyes, the hat, the band and the pompom white.

Tip Colour around the cream parts.

  14. Step 14: Red Santa hat

Colour the floppy hat red. Your Christmas wolf is ready!
