How to Draw a Christmas Pug
Draw a Christmas pug in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide head.
Step 1: Wide head
Near the top, draw a wide, soft head. Make it a little flat on top and full at the cheeks.
Tip Leave room above the head for antlers.
Step 2: Folded ears
On each top corner draw a small folded ear that flops down beside the head.
Step 3: Big round eyes
Draw 2 big round eyes, far apart. Add a black pupil and a white shine in each.
Step 4: Flat muzzle
Between the eyes draw a wide muzzle shape. Add a black nose at its top and a W smile.
Step 5: Forehead wrinkles
Above the eyes draw 2 short curved wrinkle lines, one over the other.
Step 6: Antler headband
Draw a thin band over the top of the head. On it draw 2 antlers, each with 3 round tips.
Tip These are toy reindeer antlers on a headband.
Step 7: Sitting body
Under the head draw a plump body. Its sides bow out and it sits flat on the ground.
Step 8: Collar and bell
Under the chin draw a curved collar. Hang a round bell from the middle, with a line across it.
Step 9: Front legs
From the collar draw 2 front legs down, narrower at the bottom. End each in a paw with 2 toes.
Step 10: Back paws, curly tail
Draw a round back paw at each side with 2 toes. Add a tightly curled tail on the hip.
Step 11: Ground line
Start left of the paws and draw a ground line under them, across to the right.
Step 12: Fawn fur
Colour the bell yellow. Colour the head, body, paws and tail fawn. Leave the eyes and muzzle white.
Step 13: Red band and collar
Colour the headband and the collar red, around the bell.
Step 14: Brown and grey
Colour the antlers brown. Colour the ears and the muzzle dark grey. Your Christmas pug is done!
