How to Draw a Chef
Draw a chef in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: Face and moustache
Draw 2 big round eyes with black dots and a round nose. Add a bushy moustache and a smile.
Step 3: Chef's hat
Start on the left of the head. Draw a hat band across to the right. Add a puffy cloud.
Step 4: Jacket and scarf
From the chin draw 2 neck lines down to a scarf V. Add a jacket with round shoulders and buttons.
Step 5: Long sleeves
From each shoulder draw a long sleeve down to the wrist, narrower at the bottom. Add a cuff line.
Tip Rub out the jacket lines inside the sleeves.
Step 6: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each arm draw a mitten, round like an egg, with a thumb bump pointing in.
Step 7: Wooden spoon
Start just below the left mitten. Draw a long handle up behind it, then stop at a tall oval spoon.
Step 8: Trousers
Start at the bottom left corner of the jacket. Draw 2 trouser legs down, and back up to the right.
Step 9: Shoes and ground
Under each leg draw a shoe with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 10: White hat and jacket
Colour the hat, jacket and sleeves white.
Step 11: Peach skin, red scarf
Colour the face, neck and hands peach, around the moustache, and the scarf red. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Navy trousers, brown spoon
Colour the trousers navy, and the spoon, shoes and moustache brown. Go over your lines. Done!
