How to Draw a Brick Wall
Draw a brick wall in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wall.
Step 1: The wall
Below the middle of your paper draw a wide box, wider than it is tall.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes in the middle of the wall. Add a black dot and a shine in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat cheek beside each eye, a little lower.
Step 4: The top cap
Along the top of the wall draw a thin flat bar poking out a little on both sides.
Step 5: Brick rows
Draw 3 lines straight across the wall, evenly spaced. The middle one stops short of the face on each side.
Step 6: Bricks
Draw short up-and-down brick lines in the top and bottom rows. Add a tall line each side of the face.
Step 7: A little bird
On the cap draw a little round bird: a pointy beak and tail, a small wing and a dot eye.
Step 8: A flower
On the right, draw a thin stem up from the ground, stopping under a 5-petal flower. Add a leaf.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a ground line along the bottom of the wall, from left to right.
Step 10: Yellow petals, pink cheeks
Colour the petals and the beak yellow, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Green stem, blue bird
Colour the stem, leaf and flower middle green, and the bird blue.
Step 12: Red wall, grey cap
Colour the wall red around the white eyes, cheeks and flower, and the cap grey. Your wall is built!
