How to Draw a Blueprint
Draw a blueprint in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the paper.
Step 1: The paper
Draw a wide box for the sheet, nearly as wide as the page, with its top right corner cut off.
Step 2: The folded corner
At the cut-off corner draw a small triangle folded down over the paper, like a dog-ear.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the left half of the sheet draw 2 big egg eyes close together. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile, eye to eye, and a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The little house
On the right half of the sheet draw a house box, with a pointy roof poking out past both sides.
Step 6: Door and window
In the middle of the house draw a tall door up from the bottom, and a square window top left.
Step 7: Measuring line
Under the house draw a line as wide as the house, with a tick at each end, like a ruler.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line along the bottom of the sheet, starting well left of it and stopping well right.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars in the air, 1 above each top corner of the sheet.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Yellow sparkles, sky fold
Colour the 2 sparkles yellow and the folded corner sky blue.
Step 12: Blueprint blue
Colour the sheet blue, house too, around the cheeks and fold. Leave the eyes white. Your blueprint is done!

Your finished drawing
