How to Draw a Blobfish
Draw a blobfish in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: saggy jelly body.
Step 1: Saggy jelly body
Draw a big soft blob like a gumdrop: round on top, fatter and saggy at the bottom.
Tip Make it wider at the bottom, like jelly that has slumped.
Step 2: Droopy nose
In the middle, draw a big droopy nose like a hanging egg, thin on top and fat below.
Step 3: Two eyes
On each side of the top of the nose, draw a round eye with a black dot and a shine.
Step 4: Sad mouth
Draw a wide frown behind the nose. Start low on the left, stop low on the right.
Tip The big nose hangs over the middle of the mouth.
Step 5: Little fins
Low on each side, draw a little fin pointing out and down, starting and stopping on the body.
Step 6: Sandy floor
Draw a wavy sand line behind the blobfish. Start near the left side and stop near the right side.
Step 7: Bubbles
Above the fish on the right, draw 3 round bubbles floating up, each one smaller.
Step 8: Sand and peach fins
Go over your lines. Colour the sand sandy yellow and the 2 little fins peach.
Step 9: Pink blobfish
Colour the body and the droopy nose pink, around the eyes. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Blue bubbles
Colour the 3 bubbles light blue. Your blobfish is done!
