How to Draw a Veggie Tray
Draw a veggie tray in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tray.
Step 1: The tray
In the middle of your paper draw a big round tray, nearly as wide as the page.
Step 2: The rim
Inside it draw another round a finger in from the edge, all the way round, for the rim.
Step 3: The dip bowl
In the very middle draw a small round bowl, and a smaller round just inside it for the dip.
Step 4: Carrot sticks
On the left, pointing at the dip, draw 3 long thin sticks with soft ends, one above the other.
Step 5: Celery sticks
On the right, pointing at the dip, draw 3 long sticks with flat ends, each with 2 lines along it.
Step 6: Broccoli
Across the top draw three bumpy clouds for broccoli heads, each with a short stubby stem pointing at the dip.
Step 7: Cherry tomatoes
At the bottom left draw three little round tomatoes, each with a star on top.
Step 8: Cucumber slices
At the bottom right draw two rounds for cucumber slices, with a smaller round inside each.
Step 9: Cream dip
Go over your lines, then colour the dip and the middles of the cucumber slices cream.
Step 10: Blue rings, orange carrots
Colour the bowl ring around the dip and the rim sky blue, leaving the tray white. Colour the carrots orange.
Step 11: Leaf green
Colour the celery sticks, the broccoli stems and the tomato stars leaf green.
Step 12: Green heads, red tomatoes
Colour the broccoli heads and cucumber rings green around the cream, then the tomatoes red around their stars.
