How to Draw a Lamb
Draw a lamb in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left of your paper draw a big soft head like a pear. Leave room on the right.
Tip A big head makes it cute: as big as the body is deep.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 eyes and a small nose on the head. From the nose draw a line down to a smile.
Step 3: Ears and wool
On each side of the head draw a leaf ear sticking out. Add a fluffy cloud of wool on top.
Step 4: The neck
Start behind the head and draw the neck down to the right. Draw the front from the chin down.
Step 5: The body
Start at the neck bottom. Draw a big fluffy cloud body with little bumps all round, back to the neck.
Tip The bottom is rounder and higher than the chest.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw a ground line. From the chest draw a front leg with a knee to a hoof, and a back leg.
Tip Each hoof has a line across its top and a short split.
Step 7: The far legs
Draw 2 thinner legs peeking out behind. Start on the tummy and stop at a hoof on the ground.
Step 8: Pom-pom tail
At the top corner of the bottom draw a bumpy pom-pom tail peeking out. Start and stop on the body.
Step 9: Colour it white
Go over your lines. Colour the body and wool white and the inside of the ears pink.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
Step 10: Nose and hooves
Colour the nose pink and the hooves dark grey. Your lamb is done!
