How to Draw a Kawaii Koala
Draw a kawaii koala in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide head.
Step 1: Wide head
Near the top, draw a big wide head, like a bun, with a round chin.
Tip Make the head wider than it is tall.
Step 2: Big fluffy ears
On each top corner, draw a big round ear with a bumpy fluffy edge. Add a round shape inside.
Tip Big round ears are what make it a koala.
Step 3: Sparkly eyes
In the middle of the head, draw 2 round eyes, far apart. Colour them black, leaving white shines.
Step 4: Big oval nose
Between the eyes, draw a big egg nose and colour it black. Add a small smile under it.
Tip Leave a little white shine on the nose.
Step 5: Small body
Start under the head. Draw a small bell body down to a flat bottom, and back up.
Tip Keep the body narrower than the head.
Step 6: Tummy patch
On the body, draw a tall egg for the tummy patch.
Step 7: Little arms
From each shoulder, draw a chubby little arm hanging down beside the tummy.
Step 8: Round feet
At each bottom corner of the body, draw a round foot with a flat bottom.
Step 9: Ground line
Start at the left. Draw a ground line under the feet. Stop at the right.
Step 10: Pink cheeks and ears
Colour a pink oval on each cheek. Colour the round insides of the ears pink.
Step 11: Cream tummy
Colour the tummy patch cream.
Step 12: Grey fur
Colour the head, ears, body, arms and feet grey, around the pink and cream parts.
