How to Draw a Turkey in Disguise

Step 1: Round head

A little above the middle, draw a round head, like a ball.

Tip Leave room above for a tall hat and below for the body.

Step 2: Plump body

Start under one side of the head. Draw a big plump egg body round to the other side.

Tip The body is wider than the head.

Step 3: Round glasses

Draw 2 big circles on the face. Start on one circle, draw a short bridge, and stop on the other.

Step 4: Eyes inside

Inside each circle draw a smaller circle. Add a black dot with a white shine for each eye.

Tip The ring between the 2 circles is the frame of the glasses.

Step 5: Top hat

On top of the head draw a long flat brim. Add a tall box above it, with a line across.

Tip Rub out the top of the head inside the brim.

Step 6: Beak and moustache

Under the glasses draw a small pointed beak. Behind it draw a big curly moustache, wider than the head.

Step 7: Wobbly wattle

Under the middle of the moustache, hang a small teardrop for the wattle.

Step 8: Fan tail

Behind the body draw 3 long rounded feathers on each side, like a fan.

Tip They all start from the same spot behind the body.

Step 9: Two wings

On each side of the body draw a teardrop wing, pointing down.

Step 10: Legs and ground

Under the body draw 2 thin legs with 3 toes each. Add a long ground line under the toes.

Step 11: Yellow and ginger

Colour the beak, legs and the middle feather on each side yellow. Colour the other 4 feathers ginger.

Step 12: Pink and red

Colour the head pink around the glasses. Colour the wattle and the band on the hat red.

Step 13: Brown body

Colour the body and both wings brown.

Step 14: Black disguise

Colour the hat, the rings of the glasses and the moustache black. Leave the eyes white.
