How to Draw a Chili Bowl
Draw a chili bowl in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
Above the middle draw a wide flat oval as wide as your hand, for the top of the bowl.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big deep U underneath and stop at the right end.
Step 3: The foot
Start under the bowl on the left. Draw a short stand down, across, and up to stop on the right.
Step 4: The chili
Inside the rim draw a second flat oval a finger inside it for the chili.
Step 5: Beans
In the chili draw 5 little tilted bean ovals spread about, none touching.
Step 6: Cheese and cream
On the left draw a small bumpy pile of cheese. To its right draw a flat oval of cream.
Step 7: A spoon
Draw a spoon in the chili on the right: a long handle leaning up and out, an oval bowl inside.
Step 8: Steam
Above the bowl draw 3 wiggly steam lines going up.
Step 9: 2 stripes
Draw 2 bowed lines round the bowl under the rim, one under the other, from left side to right.
Step 10: The table
Draw a line under the foot from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 11: Yellow cheese and band
Colour the cheese and the band between the stripes yellow. Leave the oval on the chili white.
Step 12: Orange bowl, grey spoon
Colour the rest of the bowl, its rim and its foot orange, and the spoon grey.
Step 13: Red chili, brown beans
Go over your lines. Colour the chili red around the cheese, white oval and spoon, and the beans brown.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a chili bowl, drawn by you.
